The Acorn Electron

The Acorn Electron is basically a scaled down BBC with a scaled down price of £199 compared to the BBC at £399. In the scaling down all the interfaces have been lost except the the TV, RGB and Cassette,  there is a an expansion port that allow the addition of expansion units including ROM slots and disk drives.

One other area affected by the scale down is graphics mode 7 which require the use of a special chip is not available all the other graphics modes are available.
