The Amstrad NC100

The NC100 was the first in Amstrad's NC range of computers launched in September 92 and was built around the Z80 processor with 64K of RAM, there is a built in Liquid Crystal Display with a graphic area of 480 x 64 pixels or 80 characters x 8 lines. Storage was limited to the built in PCMCIA slot which could hold up to 1 MB.  Among the built in software was Word Processor, Calculator, Diary and there was a even a version of BBC BASIC.

Interfaces included Centronics Parallel and RS232, power was supplied by 4 x AA batteries or via a mains adapter.
