The Atari Portfolio

The Atari Portfolio was launched in 1989 and is said to be the first PC compatible palm computer. it was built round the 80C88 processor running at a clock speed of 4.92MHz with a 128Kb of RAM and a 256Kb ROM containing the operating system that is compatible with MS DOS 2.11. The ROM also contains some built in application .

The Liquid Cristal Display is capable of 8 line of 40 characters, the keyboard is a 63 key qwerty type layout.
