The Dragon 32
The Dragon 32 was launched late in 1982 in time for Christmas, and was an instant success. The Dragon uses the Motorola 6809E as used in the Tandy Colour Computer, and because of this and other similarities it is possible to use some of the Tandy add-ons and games cartridges on the dragon. However its not possible to use the cassettes.The Dragon was built round the Motorola 6809E with a clock speed of 1 MHz and a 16k ROM containing BASIC with 32k of RAM , the display was capable of 16 lines of 32 characters and graphics of 256x192 pixels, the interface's available included Cassette, TV, Monitor, Parallel , Cartridge port. All this was cased in a substantial plastic case 380 x 325 x 97 mm and weighing in at 2100 grams the Dragon had a quality 53 key typewriter style keyboard . there was a 64k version of this machine called the Dragon 64
