The NEC PC8300
The Nec is a notepad sized computer at 291 mm x 215 mm and weighing in at 1.7 kg, it is built around the 80C85 processor running at 2.4 MHz with a 32k ROM and 16k of RAM (expandable to 96k). The 8300 has a built in LED screen capable of displaying 40 characters on 8 lines, and a graphic display of 240 x 64 pixels sized at .73 x .73mm and pitched at .8mm.
The unit has a full size qwerty style keyboard with 5 function keys (giving 10 functions using shift) and 4 cursor keys.
Interfaces include RS232, Printer, Bar code Reader, ROM Port, Tape, System slot, S101 and S102 these were some form of expansion port.
Built in software includes Microsoft N82 BASIC word processing and telecommunications
