The Oric 1
The Oric 1 was a direct competitor to the ZX Spectrum, both similar in size and capabilities. At first glance the 57 moving keys look a bit like a spectrum key but they are hard plastic and have a much smoother action.The machine is 280 x 178x mm and weighs in at 848 Grams, and is built round the 6502A processor at a clock speed of 1MHz and a 16k ROM containing BASIC with 16 or 48 of RAM. The display is capable of 28 lines of 40 characters with eight ink & paper colours, there are 3 graphic modes with a maximum of 200 x 240 pixels in hires mode.
The interface's included TV, Cassette, Video, Printer and a Expansion port
When new the machine came with PSU, Aerial & Cassette leads, game cassette and a reasonable manual.
